Dr. Akanksha Srivastava

My experience contradicts the claims of an earlier reviewer. I was seen in professional and timely manner. Dr. Srivastava has knowledge and explains quite well the treatment plan. I have taught medical and dental students so I know a good one when I see one.

Went to see this dentist per a recommendation of my general dentist. I waited in the dentist chair for an hour before she could see me only for her to tell me the only way to treat me was to take out all my teeth and start new. She then proceeded to giggle at me when I asked her how much the procedure would cost. She proceeded to tell me that I would need to sit with her financial advisor Leslie. I have to note that I was scheduled at 12:30 and 5 other patients that came in after me were seen before I was even seen. Obviously there was preference given for older caucasian potential clientele vs the younger African American clientele. I was originally told that the appointment would only take 1 hour therefore I made arrangements with prior obligations to accommodate this appointment. Since this appointment went well over the hour I had no choice but to get to my prior obligation. The only option that was given was for me to sit with Leslie after telling her I couldn't I was… told that she would call me to review. To date I have not received a call in which I verified my number with them both! Overall I would not recommend this dentist because it is obvious that they only care about how much money you have vs the health of the clients!
