I have a passion for making a difference in my patients’ lives and like to think of each one of them as if they were a family member of my own. Since birth, I’ve ALWAYS wanted to be in the medical field.
I attended Hunter College Bellevue School of Nursing and graduated in 1990. After working in the ICUs at New York University Medical Center, I felt a need to enhance my education. I obtained my Master’s from Columbia University in 1998. I am a board certified family nurse practitioner and have worked in the women’s health field for over 13 years.
I am fluent in Spanish and have Ecuadorian parents that immigrated to this amazing country where I was able to flourish and advance myself beyond imagination.
I have three children who encompass my non-professional activities. When I am not participating in something with them, I spend my time doing Zumba, running or going to the gym.
