Dr. Amanda Mead, PsyD

Dr. Amanda Mead is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who works with adults who have experienced challenging or traumatic childhoods. Her mission is to help clients move beyond feelings of overwhelm, depression, and self-doubt, fostering deep healing and transformation. Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience, Dr. Mead understands how early life experiences can shape one’s sense of self and relationships in adulthood. Her own journey, marked by experiences of not feeling heard and struggling with perfectionism and caretaking tendencies, deeply informs her compassionate approach. These challenges inspired her to pursue a career in psychology, earning her PsyD and Master’s in Psychology from Antioch University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. Dr. Mead views her work as an honor and takes pride in guiding clients toward empowerment, self-understanding, and lasting change.
