i had a very good experience for my dental visit with their office .Dr sachar is very knowledgeable and his staff is very helpful and professional.

I visited him for what I thought would be my annual cleaning. My previous dentist had moved to another area. He told me I have "an unhealthy mouth" and required cleaning under my gums under local anesthetic, "one quadrant at a time". That would run me $800 after what he smilingly told me was a senior discount of 25%.He pointed to the retraction of my gums, which is of long standing. He further said I had two amalgams needing replacement at$176 each and a crown replaced for $948. He then introduced me to Gale, who he said had fifteen years experience working for a periodontist. She gave me a short lecture on periodontal disease, which she said used to be called "pyorrhea". She said it can lead to cardiovascular problems, however with his treatment my gums will be back in good condition.She also added that the condition can be asymptomatic, probably to cover my case, since my gums don't bleed or hurt. He charged me "only" $65, which I suppose he can claim was for an oral exam, and… said it will go towards subsequent treatment. Quite upset and wondering how after 30 years with no cavities I have suddenly three, plus serious gum disease after years of being told my gums were in no significant trouble other than requiring an annual cleaning, I consulted another dentist without telling him about the above. He did a routine cleaning(15 m minutes is all it took), did X-rays, and said I was doing well. I then showed him Dr Sachar's report and he reviewed the teeth in question, finding nothing to justify the suggested procedures.
