Dr. Brittany Best-Gaverick, PsyD 

Dr. Brittany Best is a Clinical Psychologist and the founder of BBG Psychological Services. She received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Adler University (formerly Adler School of Professional Psychology). She also received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Sport and Health Psychology from Adler University. 

During her clinical training and experiences, Dr. Best has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including a therapeutic day school, a residential treatment facility, a partial hospitalization program, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, community mental health centers, a non-profit organization, and private practices. She has provided individual, family, and group therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She also has extensive experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations to individuals from various backgrounds and with numerous mental …health concerns.

Dr. Best provides her clients with a holistic approach to assessment and treatment services. She has also worked with individual athletes, coaches, and teams to encourage peak performance drawing on both her professional training and her experience as a competitive athlete.

BBG Psychological Services

We offer a full complement of assessment and treatment services for a wide variety of mental health conditions. We provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, clarify diagnosis, and direct an effective course of treatment. We also conduct individual and family therapy to provide ongoing assistance and support.

We use psychological and neuropsychological measures, collateral interviews, and behavioral observations to assess an individual’s strengths and weaknesses. We will offer recommendations and strategies for individualized, holistic, and effective treatment. Our goal is to provide you with a better understanding of your experiences to improve your day-to-day life. 

Often, families come to us when a child is struggling in school or at home. During the evaluation, we work together to gain an understanding of the challenges facing the child and their family. For children and adolescents, it can be helpful to schedule classroom observations to gain an understanding of how the individual is performing in the educational setting.
