Dr. Brittany R. Mccolgan, MD

Brittany McColgan, MD, is a short-term behavioral health consultant for Intermountain Health's Mental Health Integration (MHI) program at the Taylorsville Clinic, Avenues Specialty Clinic, Holladay Clinic, and Avenues Women’s Center in Salt Lake City. She works within the medical setting to provide mental health services alongside your established primary care physician or specialist. She is interested in unique models of mental health delivery, addiction psychiatry, global mental health, and women's mental health.

MHI treatment is a short-term program designed to help manage mental health symptoms that affect quality of life and typically includes 3–6 visits. Patients must be referred by a primary care provider at one of the clinics where Dr. McColgan practices. Your care team works together throughout treatment to support your needs. If additional or long-term care is needed, we can help coordinate a referral. Dr. McColgan was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her bachelor's degree at Bowdoin College in Maine and subsequently completed her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma. She came to Utah for her residency in adult psychiatry where she served as co-chief resident during her final year.
