Dr. Derek Funk received his Bachelor degree at Brigham Young University, graduating Magna Cum-laude in Economics. He went on to get his DDS degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry, one of the top dental schools in the country!
Dr. Derek loves to learn and has continued his education by attending the Academy of Operative Dentistry Seminar in Chicago. When he learned advanced techniques on many of the aspects of dentistry including veneers and other aesthetic techniques.
Dr. Derek's wife is a Cardiac Sonographer. They enjoy the outdoors, including golf, tennis, cycling, and swimming. He has done several triathlons.
Along with being active in church service, Dr Derek has participated in several community service endeavors including "Give Kids a Smile". As a part of this program, for the last four years, he has been able to reach out and offer free dental care to children in need.
