Dr. Eric Gupta

IlIF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! I am completely dissatisfied with Dr Gupta. I came into the er suffering from a broken ankle on 8/19. I was discharged but returned the next day due to pain. I simply asked for better prescription and was admitted to the hospital where I stayed for 2 nights, three days. The communication between the Drs and nurses is so poor. I was getting so many different reasons on why I was being kept in the hospital. Once I spoke with the surgeon on 8/20 1pm and was okayed to go home I should have been discharged. Gupta never returned to me to discharge me or even give me an update. I was completely left in the dark until the next morning. I spoke with multiple supervisors on the floor who also emailed him for answers. During my stay I also was placed on a “cardiac diet” for no reason at all. And when I asked him about it he laughed and simply stated “I’ll take it off”. I came to the hospital and was treated like a complete joke by Dr Gupta. When I was finally… discharged he attempted to send me home to the same meds that didn’t work in the first place. I had to plead with him to replace the prescription to what I am getting now and I felt and feel completely ignored by him as a patient. This is not right! Further more when I left the hospital I went to the pharmacy that is in the system for me. I confirmed the pharmacy information was correct 3 different times. Yet and still he sent the script to the hospitals pharmacy completely throwing me off track as my wife was already at the Savon pharmacy on Rainbow Dr. Dr Gupta showed lack of empathy, respect, compassion, and integrity. I am totally and utterly dissatisfied with him as a Dr and I hope no one else ever experiences the treatment I received from him.
