Went to see Dr Mishra for my neurological issues. She was the fourth neurologist that I saw in six months. I had read the reviews about her before I visited, many good and some not-so-good. She did a thorough examination, went over all my symptoms and complaints, gave me her diagnosis, and prescribed medication. Gave me her number to call if there was any problem. To my pleasant surprise I was completely cured within a month. She is very nice with patients, mild mannered, but follows strict protocols. She appeared very caring and shared her phone number if I needed to call. I can say with sincerity and confidence that she is the best neurologist out there in Memorial. That’s why she has a steady stream of patients, more than the most, and does clinics on certain Saturdays. Very popular among patients and physicians.

I went to the ER twice while 10wks pregnant for migraines. Loss of vision & ptosis in 1 eye. I am a patient of hers & she refused to get me in for an Appt & never returned a phone call after multiple messages were left. She doesn’t care about her patients & I have no idea how she sleeps at night. I got into a neurologist at Ocshners immediately and they immediately did an MRI & MRA. They did what was necessary to help me and help me keep my baby safe as well.

Started going to her last year. Had just moved to the area and was the closest neurologist for me to see. Present her with narcolepsy test and was drug tested three times in a month and a half as if I was a drug addict. She asked me what meds did I think I needed to be on. Never asked about catelexy, how I slept, my mental state or how I was dealing with having narcolepsy with cataplexy and sleep paralysis. The first appointment I explained I hadn’t been on any meds due to the move and that’s why I was there. When she got my first drug test back she stated it was negative for any medications in surprise. I told her again. I haven’t been on meds in months due to meds. She asked me what meds did I want to take. Again no discussion of anything else. But then in my medical file put that I had no catelexy, hallucinations, nothing. How would she know? She never inquired about anything. Then when I stated the adderall wasn’t helping much all she could tell me was I was on the highest… legal dose there was and she wasn’t giving me more. That wasn’t even what I was implying. I was implying that maybe I needed something else. What a doctor. Writes all this mess in my file but never asked me anything about any of it and treats me as an addict.

No help what so ever. Still have the same problems in fact they've gotten ten times worse will not go back to this doctor.

I have never been more upset by anyone in such a short period of time. I ultimately ended up canceling my appointment after waiting a month and a half to get in to see her. Do not waste your time on this doctor who ot communicate effectively

Due to problems with a prescription sent to my pharmacy, I was told to get in touch with Dr. Mishra's office. After calling and leaving messages two times, I called back later in the day and was told to call back if I didn't hear anything due to the office closing at 4:30pm. Called back about 4:20 as was told the nurses were gone for the day. BIG PROBLEM! Out of seizure medicine, it's a Friday, doctors office DEFINITELY closed on Saturday and Sunday. I guess it's not important to the nurses on staff that that I will have seizures daily. guess I'm going to the emergency room and sit around 4 1/2 hours. If there was a HORRIBLE/DISRESPECTFUL rate selection, I would have selected that.

Dr. Mishra does thorough examinations, listens carefully, and inspires confidence. I'm glad my family practitioner referred me to her.

Dr. Mishra is the most caring, compassionate and brilliant physician I have even been treated by.
