Although I did not get to see Dr. Moore or Cheong, I have never had a more unprofessional interaction with trying to schedule an appointment with the staff that handle appointments. For over 1 month, I was not able to successfully schedule an appoint even after several calls. They do not call back and when I finally went to the office that is open 1 day per week in Saint Mary's in person, I was told that my primary care provider had all the information and to talk to them. I then went to my primary care provider and was told that they did not want to take me as a patient. My primary care provider's staff also mentioned that "Diedra" was unprofessional with them as well. Very unusual. Based on this initial impression of the staff of Dr. Moore and Cheong, I would not recommend them to anyone. They probably don't even know this is happening.

Dr Cheong has a dry wit that took some getting used to, but after my second visit we seemed like old friends. He has remarkable compassion (so important in the field of oncology) and an amazing recall of previous visits you may have had with him. (It helps if you're a Gator fan!)I rated Waiting Time during Visit low because if you have back to back appts be prepared to have to possibly cancel your plans. However, what you get in return is a doctor who takes the time to sit and really listen to his patients. So given the choice between a quick visit that starts on my scheduled appt time to a doctor who asks about all phases of my health and life, I'll gladly plan my day around his appt.Dr Cheong has surrounded himself with a fantastic staff of nurturing, intelligent professionals as well. Judy, Nancy and Karen, to name a few, treat Dr Cheong's patients as if they were long lost family members. In fact, I sometimes drop in just to say hi to everyone! You won't be just another number at… his office.
