I want you for the baby you were going to deliver and now I just want the same for her 14 years later. Yes, That long ago when we missed it. You were off call. SHE IS NOT PREGNANT! Just was hoping for the best original experience like you gave me.

Years ago Dr.Lichtmaker delivered my two kids. One thing I remember is that he told me to stop pretending and start to push for real. I did not chose him as my doctor. He was the one at the moment. Also he enjoys watching TV while giving you an episiotomy without asking you first.

I can honestly say that Dr Lichtmacher is a god send to me. 25 years ago, Dr Lichmacher was in Connecticut. I had gone to a different ob/gyn when I was pregnant in 1990. That doctor had told me that the fetus had no heartbeat and that they would have to do a D&C. Needless to say we were heartbroken & confused as to what happened. All the doctor said was that you're young, you can try again. Well after a short time, we did try again and again I got pregnant. We were both excited to finally start our family. Then yet again this other doctor told us that there was no fetal heartbeat and they would need to do another D&C yet again. We scheduled the procedure and went home and cried and cried and questioned why this kept happening to us. My husband asked me if I thought we should get a 2nd opinion. To be honest, I didn't want to hear the same thing from another doctor so I said no. Luckily he kept pushing me to get a second opinion. Finally I gave in and based on a friends recommendation,… went to see Dr Lichtmacher. Dr Lichtmacher confirmed what the other Doctor had said after performing an internal ultrasound. He didn't see the heartbeat. I broke down in the office and coukdn't seem to control myself. Feeling like an idiot, I apologize to Dr Lichtmacher and he assures me not to worry. He then states that he doesn't want to do a D&C. He suggested to wait and let nature take its course. He assured me that if I started to miscarry that he would do the D&C immediately. He told me that there's no harm in waiting for it to start on its own, just in case it wasn't meant to happen. He stated that it doesn't hurt to wait a week or two. So we go home, still emotional and still confused but deep down, a little hopeful. Well I am so happy to say that 9 months later I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Dr Lichtmacher saved my daughters life. If I had not gone to see him for a 2nd opinion, I would have gotten the 2nd D&C two days after being told there was no heartbeat from the first Doctor. I've told my story several times to friends and family but most importantly, I've told my daughter. Every year on her birthday I repeat the story to her. Letting her know how fortunate I am to have her. All because of an amazing Doctor by the name of Dr Lichtmacher. I don't know if the doctors read these reviews, but just in case they do. Thank you so much Dr Lichtmacher, from both myself as well as my daughter. I'm proud to say that telling my daughter this story year after year has resulted in her going into the medical field as an RN at the very hospital she was born in. Thank you again Dr Lichtmacher. You'll never know how much you mean to me.

Dr. Lichtmacher has been my obgyn for almost five years and cared for me through an ecotopic pregnancy and my second regular pregnancy which resulted in a successful vaginal birth after a previous c-section. The combination of midwives and doctors in this practice works really well and they are great at following up after blood work and other tests. Dr. Lichtmacher has a nice bed side manner and is very laid back but professional.
