Dr. Adam James Maass, MD

A lot of things being said of Dr. Maass. He has taken care my health for 20 year’s and I can say my life has been extended because of him. I would be his patient anytime, he’s the best.

Dr Maass is the most caring and thorough doctor we’ve ever had. He is actually invested in our care! He is a rare gem!!

When I first found Dr Maass, I had had a very unhappy experience with the only other endocrinologist I had been able to find in this area! That was almost 18 years ago and Dr Maass was my life saver! After brain surgery to remove a pituitary tumor, he has kept my body in repair! Otherwise, I probably would be dead by now! I’ve “adopted” him as one of my own! He is the BEST!!!

first I want to say Dr. Maass is one of the best doctors you will ever find that walks the face of the earth. He a doctor "I know " but it takes a special kind of person that cares about his patients not as a chart but as a "person" as who they are. He always has shown my daughter the best care that any Dr. has ever shown her in the world. I thank God for Dr. Maass he is one in a million and that is the whole truth.

He is too busy to responsibly take care of his patients. My wife and I first started seeing him several years ago and he's changed a lot. He used to be a great doctor. His bedside manner is impressive but the overall quality of care has gone way down. He forgets things and he always makes promises for follow up but the truth is he rarely comes through on anything anymore. He is a good man probably just over worked. But if you want focused care with follow up, I'd advise you to try someone else

Cannot say enough about Dr. Maass!! We came to him in 2009 when our child was first diagnosed at 6 years old. We were very scared and unsure on how to help her manage her disease. He held our hands and educated us and still continues to educate us today. He is always ready to try something different and work with her body to get it to work for her!! We still struggle but we are making it I could not imagine doing this with anyone else. 6 stars if we could!!

I have been going to Dr Maass for about a year and a half. I have not seen him once during that time. I have been with an assistant all this time and although she has been pleasant she has also been hard to work with.

ive been seeing Dr Maass for a few years i just love him he spends as much time as i need and lessons and ans all my questions id recommed him to anyone

Dr. Maass has an excellent bedside manner and spends as much time with me as I need. I find that getting my test results has improved since getting mymercy.net, but finding out when to return for further testing is still a problem. Also, he tends to group you in as "normal" without the possibility of low normal or high normal results causing ongoing symptoms (Graves disease moving into hypo). He normally tests only for TSH to monitor unless you request additional tests. I feel that my symptoms are much less important than that of other patients.
