Dr. Adam Ernst Paley, MD

When this office (Dr. Palsy) charges a fee, and you're told they will submit it to your insurance and refund it back to you once paid, but they take their sweet time submitting the claim (knowing they'll get less than you paid, then gets paid by your insurance, and do not refund you and later tell you they will send you a check, but do not, you know it's a scam. Simple as that. Unfair business practices against unsuspecting patients at best, fraud against patients at its worst.

I tried to let the nurses know several times that we needed referrals and they insisted we use myhealth to communicate when clearly we just needed someone to fax a referral request for a specialist. We even provided the fax number for them and they could not relay this to the doctor. Even after we said that we were not going to be infront of the computer for several hours, and we were worried about my husband's medical situation, the nurse insisted rudely that we have no choice but to use myhealth online and hung up on us. Very unprofessional and uncaring- she definitely chose the wrong field to work in.

Dr. Paley is caring but lacks communication skills to educate those who are interested in taking responsibility for their own health. The office staff has improved, but isn't trained in effectiveness and courtesy. I would not recommend the nurse practitioner for OBGYN. She speaks as if you're a group rather than the "one" patient. She pushes: her agenda, rushs intimate testing, and lacks consideration and courtesy in conversation. In general the office talks "down" to you rather than "to" you.
