Dr. Adam Scott Crawford, DO

First and only visit was for my yearly physical. He put all my information into the computer and then he said I needed to have blood work done before I had my physical. I had the blood work done.His office calls to tell me I need an ultrasound. I get the ultrasound. His office calls again and tells me I need to see another doctor. A surgeon who tells me I have Gall stones and need surgery. I told her l would discuss it with my son in law. He was a director of nursing at a hospital in California. I had no symptoms of gall stone problems.I did have Gall stones. A week later Dr Klaus' office called to schedule surgery. They were kind of pushy when I told them no. I found out later that surgeons only get paid by insurance when they do a surgical procedure. Needless to say, I have never been back to Dr Crawford since my first visit. Patient Beware.

I would just like to say, I specifically asked for an appointment with his assistant and found her completely competent and, when I return, I will be seeing her. So, please do not limit yourself by the comment below mine. Remember, we all have our own experiences!!

we've gone to dr crawford for over ten years, and referred him to all our family. recently, my wife had an experience with his physician's assistant that has proved so disastrous, we will no longer be patronizing his practice. her uncaring and cowardly behavior was harmful and completely shook our confidence in him. AVOID.

I AM NEW IN TOWN AND WANTED A LOCAL DOCTOR FOR MY PAIN MGMT. I DON'T HAVE INS., SO WAS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE REASONABLE AND CLOSE. DR CRAWFORD CALLED ME A "DR. SHOPPER AND DRUG ADDICT!" I HAVE TWO BLOWN DISCS, BACKED UP BY A MRI PLUS PRIOR SCRIPS FOR PAIN WHICH I PRODUCED. (IT WAS REFILL TIME). I WAS REDUCED TO TEARS! HE WROTE A LOWER SCRIP STRENGTH TO TAKE TO THE PHARMACY (WRONG)) AND ANOTHER ON MY CHART!I BROUGHT THIS DISCREPANCY TO HIS ATTENTION, WHICH HE REFUSED TO CORRECT! HIS OFFICE THEN CHARGED ME A HIGHER THAN QUOTED PRICE ON THE PHONE, WATCH OUT!

I like the casual office atmosphere and it is relective of the surf town San Clemente is.The staff has always been attentive enough to process me in and out of the office efficiently. Dr Crawford always takes enough time to diagnose, explain and offer treatment for whatever malady I've sought his advice for.

Dr. Crawford is a great doctor! He is a smart, caring individual with a horrible team working for him. I'm a practice management consultant and the first thing I would do if I were him is fire my team. Again, I see so many great doctors and dentists that are limiting their potential by keeping uncaring, incompetent, and unprofessional team members on the payroll. Every time I schedule an appointment with him I get the feeling that I'm wasting his team's time. I hope he reads this because he needs to make some changes.

Dr Crawford takes the time to discuss every question you have, is thorough in explaining his diagnosis, and I would highly recommend Dr Crawford and his staff to anyone.
