I had gone to several doctors, including a specialist, and was unable to find relief of my pain or any resolution of my condition. Dr. Akande, on my first visit recommend a medication that worked! After over a year of weekly catheters, and horrible pain, I had relief. He was kind, listened to me, and was very knowledgeable about all of my issues. Lifesaver...

Dr. Akande will not listen to you or any of your problems. He thinks the world owes him and he is so disrespectful. I really think the board needs to do some reviewing of this doctor.

yes, i did go to him back in 2009,some where in that long that time.. i thought he was an awesome caring doctor, i use to go to the behind cmc in pineville nc, i was a bus driver at that time, i appreciate all he he did for me,he gave injections in my back & i would go right back to drive bus on my evening loads, i'm trying to go see him at this point..my back & knees are in constant pain..i would like to know if he is still in rock hill sc,he would be the pain center as referal from my primeir md.

Dr. Akande's office is very messy but he is a great doctor no question about it.

For NO reason. This doctor will "not reschedule" for no valid reason, no discharge paperwork, and will not speak to the patient regarding why. What a joke. Anesthesiologists should not be labeled pain management doctors. Go elsewhere!
