Dr. Adnan Mohamad Al-Ayoubi, MD

Dr Ayoubi is the surgeon of record who performed my recent RUL lobectomy. The poor rating doesn't reflect anything about except the underhanded manner in which he became the surgeon for me. I met with Dr. Joseph Keech as the surgeon to be doing surgery on me. I may have met Dr. Ayoubi once along with others persons that would be present during the surgery, but his role was definitely not defined to me. It was my understanding from the time the initial appointment was set up all the way to post op visit 4 weeks after surgery that Dr Keech was to be my surgeon. It was only in reading the op notes that I learned Ayoubi actually performed the surgery - with the note that Dr. Keech was in the room during the entire procedure. Ayoubi was not present or mentioned at the post op visit. I find this way less than honest and above board. I had intended to ask Dr. Keech to do surgery next on my giant hiatal hernia since he has considerable experience in this also. But since I can't … trust that he would actually do the surgery, I decided to find another surgeon.
