Rude staff unqualified unprofessional nurse asst. Upon first visit pulled out a blood tester didn't even say what it was. Just ask me for my finger to test my sugar. Dr anew came in the room for 4 minutes after sitting back there for 30 minutes asks 3 questiins. Didn't even have a computer to view my medical records. Claiming he can catch a virus. A con art is doctor. All I saw was drug heads, patients. Office was raggedy& outdated. Gave me a referral as if I needed his help to make it look as if he serviced me. Will be calling telling him to cancel his refferral. Piece a crap,

Dr. Ankewe is a good doctor and friendly and so is his staff in the Broadway Gary Indiana office. However the good doctor and nursing staff should practice better hygiene. They really should wash their hands when entering a room with a every patient and wear gloves. They don't do either. Also there really is a two to 3 hour or more wait time.

DR.Anewke came to my by side in E/R in a critical situation that occluded while I was at work and saved my life when everyone else said he would not make it over night and has kept me going for 22 year's and still kicking.My condition was very serious.He is a no nonsense DR.but has a excellent bedside manner and compassion for his patients and will not let any other Dr's ride herd on his patients.He is also a board certfied E/R DR.I brought many patients to him when i worked on the ambulance for the fire department.Don't take my word for it,just ask him.You will be in good hands with him ! ! Besides all of that he has a cute office manger who is very good at her job but she is very married so don't try it guy's.Nor on the staff,these women have husbands and men and the DR. will come out his tie and get busy on you.
