Dr. Adrien Amir Hessam Eshraghi, MD

Dr. Eshraghi is a 5 star doctor. He just performed a complex cholesteatoma and mastoiditis surgery coupled with a skull base defect that also needed reconstructive surgery. The surgery went extremely smooth. Pain on a scale of 1 to 10 was less than 1. If you know anyone who needs ENT medical treatment or surgery, they should definitely definitely contact Dr. Eshraghi and his team of professionals. He is the best best and I really mean that. He also makes you feel valued as a person.

Dr. Eshraghi came highly referred by a local ENT. I was told he was the top in his field and they were right. He performed tympanoplasty mastoidectomy. The results have been outstanding. My hearing is much better and the procedure went very well. I had minimal discomfort and a smooth recovery. He and his team were kind and helpful throughout the process.

Dr. Eshragi, thank you for the concern you have shown regarding my daughter Lydie by treating her chronic left ear infection . She has had tubes in place twice without success by other ENT till your surgery. She has not had not even one infection since your surgery which is about four years ago. I feel compel to write this note of gratitude because the last time we went to your office for follow up, the hearing test show improvement from the poor hearing she had in the past. I was thrill to hear Tamara from your staff utter no follow up unless needed. I am a 66 year old retired professional in high level operations and customer care. have never had a worst experience with a physician in my entire life. Dr Eshraghi was totally unprepared and had never reviewed my notes from previous visits. When I questioned this he got rude, loud,aggressive, and started to get in my face before I asked him to please back off and we can try to start over. His listening skills were non existent and his clinical skills were unacceptable. My original appointment was with the department chair and had to be changed. I was assured that my case would be clearly communicated. Unfortunately this did not happen. Unfortunately this cost me a lot of wasted time. I would never agree to see this physician again and would recommend the same to anyone else looking for a physician in his field. Maybe Dr. Eshraghi should review the hypocritic oath that he committed to when he first became a physician. Dr Eshraghi was my cochlear implant surgeon. No matter how trivial my questions were during my appointments he patiently answered all of them. He hardly shaved any of my hair for surgery and I have no scar at all! I had no issues post op. Some people lose their sense of taste after having CI surgery. But I didn't. He advised me on which ear would have a better chance of success. Even though I lost most of my residual hearing following surgery he told me not to worry and he even sat in on my activation. I told him that some of the reviews I had read about him painted him as very brusque but he acknowledged that doctors are humans and can have good days and bad days. I would definitely use him again if I'm doing my other ear. Others have said he is one of the best CI surgeons. I have to agree.

Got referred to see him by the other ENT doctor at Miami University Dr Herman (Another bad doctor). After still having issues after having Pneumonia a ear infection was seen on a CT of the sinuses. Having ear aches/ pain. Complaints of Mobility and Balance, and dizziness with having hearing loss/ ringing of the ears sometimes one sided and History of tubes in my ears twice as a young child. Inner ear infections. Filled out a 3 page questionnaire a very detailed questionnaire at that about the complaints and why you are seeing the doctor which I noted feeling like there was something in the back of my ears bothering me. He didn't even bother to look at the Questionnaire the clipboard still being in my hands. Checked the pressure in my ears barely entertained my request for an Internal Auditory Canal (IAC) study It was wham bam hand the questionnaire to the people at the desk and out the door you go. Two more studies still seeing this ear infection. Will seek out another doctor for… care as went home and with a Q-tip (Yes your not suppose to use I know) pulled out lots of chunks of ear wax (Not normal for me either). which he couldn't be bothered to remove when he looked in my ears. Would not recommend him! To in a hurry!

I just want to say thank you to Dr Eshraghi and his staff. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in his ear. Since day one Dr Eshraghi made us feel like we were family, he was concerned not only about my husband but also about myself. My husband was schedule for surgery almost immediately and now after 6 months he is doing great! Thank God and this doctor and practice. We are very to all you!!

After two failed Cochlear implant surgeries, I sought out Dr. Eshraghi whom I had heard speak at a conference because he specializes in corrective CI surgeries. At my first appointment I was impressed how thoroughly he reviewed my case and how dedicated he was to resolving my problem. He contacted MedEl and they developed a tool to aid in the reimplantation. It is evident that Dr. Eshraghi does a comprehensive preoprative evaluation and is a highly regarded CI surgeon I highly recommend Dr. Eshraghi

I have been going to Dr. Eshraghi for several years due to hearing loss and vertigo. His patience, understanding and compassion helped me through a difficult time. The staff was very good. I had some uncomfortable testing and i was treated with kindness. The follow up was thorough and I am now on a very specific regime which enables me to live a normal life. If you want a great diagnostician and knowledgeable doctor, Dr. Eshraghi is the doctor to see. There are some emergencies that require waiting for the doctor. I have come to expect that and it is well worth the wait. If you want to be treated like you really matter, then go to,his office.

We were referred to Dr.Eshraghi through our ENT. We knew our son had hearing issues, but never in our wildest imagination were we prepared for almost deafness. Derek was placed in hearing aids bilateral and was a new person. I wanted to pursue options to make him safe without the hearing aids but realizing there was an issue.I must say that Dr Eshraghi was difficult to warm up to but he turned out to be our best friend and listened to our concerns. He not only performed one, but two surgeries (stapedectomy and titanium implants). Derek is over the moon with the results. The smile on Dr Eshraghi's face after the first surgery was awesome. He said let's talk about the other ear.2016 has been an awesome year for us and our son is so happy with the results...I think he may be able to secure a job now as he will be able to interview and hear better. I would recommend Dr Eshraghi to anyone needing help with hearing issues for an over the edge evaluation and extremely talented hands… that work with a great surgical team.
