Dr. Adwait G Mehta, MD

Dr.Mehta is a one of a kind doctor with a superb and professional bedside manner. He recently treated my husband at Md Anderson for fluid build up in his legs that had been going on for a month. Although we did get Dr.Mehta towards the end of my husbands hospital stay he was able to reduce the swelling within just the week of overseeing my husbands care. Dr.Mehta was very well educated showed so much concern and sympathy not only to my husbands medical needs but also to my husbands mental state which was beautiful to see how some stranger could care for another stranger Dr.Mehta even went as far as explaining things regarding my husbands care over the phone when I was not physically in the hospital so I never got to miss anything. Thanks to Dr.Mehta and of course everyone else that helped get my husbands health better he was able to return home after a month long hospital stay. We are forever grateful to Dr.Mehta an amazing doctor who truly has a passion for his profession my husband… thought he would never see his knee caps (humor) again and he would remained in discomfort but thanks to Dr.Mehta he made that happen within a week and was able to get my husband back home to continue fighting the battle of all battles . I recently had the opportunity to receive health guidance from him for the exercises for the speedy recovery after my knee replacement surgery. Very caring, thoughtful diagnosis, giving needful time and attention. He explained potential factors, testing plan, workout plan, medication and a comprehensive recovery plan--> to put me on a path with positive thinking mind which always is helpful for wellbeing. I had acute backpain leading to total bed ridden condition, could not move. Started moving in two days and 90% normal in 2 weeks. Following the recovery plan, I am sure will recover 100% soon and will prevent such injury in future taking proactive steps. Dr. Mehta was a very professional & helpful doctor at Lovelace Downtown. My mother was in for infection and under Dr. Mehta’s care did well and is recovering nicely at home. During the hospital stay we were kept informed on her condition.
