Dr. Ahmed A Amayem, MD

I have seen Dr. Amayem for years and he and his staff are wonderful. It's hard to get a return call from the office staff but he is caring & kind. Takes great care of me.

The doctors and staff are great. I went to 1 other pain doctor and started with injections that DID NOT work so not surprising I was hesitant when Dr. Amayem wanted to try the injections again. Thankfully we discussed it and I had the injections and much to my surprise they worked magic and I felt so much better. I have continued seeing the doctors here and have continually decreased my medication because I am getting better! My only suggestion would be when you are providing the UA 1. wait your turn 2. if you cannot go then let them know and go wait in the waiting room because you are holding up everyone else's appointment times which is not the clinics fault because you are the reason everything is running behind. 3. be prepared for your appointment and the UA every time especially if you have issues providing the sample.

I've been a patient of the aa spine clinic for quite sometime, in those years I have never had a problem. Sometimes they may over book, but what doctor hasn't? The wait times vary either right in or you might have to wait your turn. Overall they are very good Dr's and I recommend them to anyone that I know needs help. For Dr's Nawar and Amayem I extend a thank you for the great work you do and at a fast pace I might add.

To Dr. Amayem, please take the time to look into our dimmed eyes and listen to our plea to simply care. We wait hours past our scheduled appointments to have a mutual discussion regarding a plan to diagnose-treat-prognosis our health problems. Dont be weary if we disagree or some may choose a short acting medicine over a long lasting n more addictive medication of which damage the liver more. We as patients dare not to cast judgement on u personally but our cries arent being heard. Pain mangement should be place where there's open doors of multiple options to choose relife of pain. No one should be judge or dismissed if he\she chooses pills over painful injection or injections over surgery. Just like opioids have disadvantages so do injections. Like this ole saying goes" A sick patient should never convinve a doctor to carr". Care more Doc!

I love Dr. Amayem & his staff. I've been a patient for 4 years and had previously seen 5 other pain management doctors in the OKC area. All any of them ever wanted to do was injections & because I can't have them, I was dismissed. Dr. Amayem listens when I have a question or concern, we discuss treatment options and he is genuinely concerned and caring. I will never be 100% pain free but he's helped give me a better quality of life than I had previously and I thank him for this.

I've never written a review about anything in my life but after being seen by this man I felt compelled. The man has no empathy and as stated above he didn't care if I had any questions or concerns. He did not give me a chance to even speak. All of the sudden he was out of the room and didn't even tell me the visit was over. I had to go find someone to see what was going on. No bedside manner at all! Don't go see this man

The best in His field and wouldn't leave his care for any other Dr. in this field.

After seeing this Dr for a few months I decided I had to fire him. He never listened to me our answered any of my questions. He had no bedside manner at all. He once performed 33 shots in my back all at once. Afterwards wouldn't return my calls when I called with problems from said procedure. I will warn everyone I can do not ever see this Dr, he will hurt you.

I think this Dr. speaks English just fine & people that say that tend to be racist and judgemental. I agree that many people are just looking for short acting narcotics for whatever reason, however, some of us actually NEED them bc we have tried all else and it has failed. This is where I found problems with him, and the fact that he doesn't ask if you have any questions. He just leaves the room and a nurse calls you into the hallway and you realize your visit is over. Many doctors forget that patients are the ones paying their salaries and we can choose to go somewhere where someone is actually willing to listen, give advice and allow us to be co-participants in our own care. They also have an office policy of one call, one message but I've called several times, over several weeks, grant you and not once have I received a call back.

Dr. Amayem is courteous, professional, and right to the point. During initial visit I explained problem areas and he addressed them immediately. I was sent for an MRI and then back to the office a week later. My experience with the Dr.Amayem has been outstanding. In comparison with many, many Doctors, he is at the top concerning my care. I honestly was ready to give up and just request narcotics for my pain. Narcotics aren't needed, my health is good, and pain is virtually gone. I highly recommend this doctor!
