Dr. Ahmed Fawzy, MD

Absolutely HORRIBLE. He not onot left his phone notifications on audio when I was there with my bf, but also had them turned up very loudly. Super unprofessional to begin with but then kept getting calls, SEVERAL, and kept taking them!! I would’ve been fine if it was an emergency of course or even something important, but these were clearly personal calls and we’re literally talking 4 to 5 calls!! Pathetic enough, but then not even any kind of sorry or excuse me, or anything at all whatsoever!! It was like we were at his house or something, it seriously was just the most bizarre, unprofessional doctor visit I’ve ever witnessed and I’m in professional healthcare. To top it off!!! He was very rough and hasty with the prostate exam with my bf… He l told me after that he hardly used any lubrication and he left in pain. Horrible person. I don’t want to imagine the kind of negligence he has been involved in with actual procedures on people! It seriously scares me and it should you as well!!

An associate of Dr. Fawzy promised to operate on me to fix a problem that has caused me DECADES of suffering. At the last minute, he decided Dr. Fawzy would be a better man for the work and promised me it would be done. I wrote Dr. Fawzy immediately with my medical history. I asked him to have his staff give me a call if he decided he wouldn't do the surgery. No response. On the morning of the appointment, I traveled 165 miles to the IN PAIN to the hospital, expecting to be prepped for surgery, or at the least, given another appointment for surgery. Dr. Fawzy wouldn't even consider surgery. He wouldn't listen to me. He brushed me off with a suggestion of more "pain management". I left the hospital totally demoralized. Why do this to people? Why raise their hopes and then dash them to the ground?

Dr Fawzy is a very carrying and understanding doctor. He explains details in a manner that you understand and will take as much time as needed.
