Dr. Ai-Nhi Tran, MD

Dr. Tran is everything you would ever want it a OB/GYN doctor. She's kind, caring, informative , patient, and really listens. If I could dream up a doctor she would be it!

Dr. Tran , I have yet to find an Obgyn like her since I moved away in 2011. She delivered my son Nov 2010. She really took care of my medical needs and even though I am a strong woman myself she could relate and took care of my concerns. She's a straight shooter. Amazing and hard to find!

Dr Tran is a wonderful doc who listens to your concerns and give sound advice as well as reading materials to support her advice. The front desk staff always knew me when I walked in the door. I'm happy to say I'll be returning to her for my next pregnancy/delivery.

The office staff is very inefficient at verifying benefits; I went in for an annual visit and was surprised to see that my insurance company denied a claim for an annual exam for preventive care. $485.00 for lab expenses and $595.00 for office visit fees. I got in contact with the office where I spoke to Richard; he informed me that additional tests weâ??re run on me. I did not request these test nor was I informed of these test were to be done. Richard stated that they weâ??re done because of my age( I am 23 years old) and because of the federal/state law. I only came in for an annual pap smear. I called my insurance company Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and they let me know that the tests that weâ??re run on me are not required and that the office had sent my pap smear to an out-of-network laboratory. With this new information I called Richard back to let him know that the additional testâ??s that were run on me are not required and that they had sent my specimen to the… wrong lab. All I got was â??Well did you inform the MA what lab to send to? Well all our Blue Cross Blue Shield HMOâ??s normally go out to that Lab so we assumed. Sorry there isn't much I can do for you.â?? This could have all been avoided if the office staff had taken a few minutes to Verify Benefits, they do make above minimum wage. In order to confirm insurance eligibility: Patientâ??s name and date of birth Name of the primary insured Social security number of primary insured Insurance carrier ID number Group number Contact information for the insurance company including phone number, website and address for submitting claims. Once you've got the insurance information in-hand, you should contact the insurance company to verify the following pieces of information 1. Patient is indeed covered by the insurance 2. Insurance coverage effective dates 3. In-network or out-of-network coverage 4. Service(s) you are seeing the patient for are covered, do they need pre-authorization and/or a referral by a primary care physician? 5. Amount of co-pay for services, if any 6. Deductible amount, has the deductible been met for the year? When the patient arrives for their appointment, youâ??ll want to make a copy of their photo ID and their insurance card and collect any applicable co-pay. Returning Patients Itâ??s also important to keep your returning patientsâ?? records up-to-date. Personal information, like address, contact information and insurance coverage can change over a short period of time, so always have your patients verify their personal information each time they visit your office. If a returning patient indicates a change in insurance, follow the procedure to verify their benefits prior to providing care. Having well organized procedures for collecting patient information and verifying insurance eligibility will help facilitate a streamlined claims and billing process. There are sophisticated verification tools available that automate much of the process, but as long as you follow some basic protocol, youâ??ll help to ensure timely payment for your services

She is just amazing.

I loved Dr. Tran. I switched to her with my first pregnancy, and was excited to go back to her with my second pregnancy as well. She was so kind and helpful. Very understanding, and always gave the best advice. She never judges or treats you differently than others. Always makes you feel welcomed! And her staff learns your name so quick, once your going so often! I love that she see's you through your pregnancy, and even delivers, unlike other doctors. She's very dedicated to her job!

Great Doctor. Helped me through one Miscarriage and then through a healthy pregnancy of a baby boy born 9lbs 11oz. Her bedside manner was remarkable and was always welcoming to my daughter who was 3 at the time! She included her in on many of the appts helping to measure and find her brother's heart beat! She even brought her milk and crackers to the scheduled morning induction! A+++++++++++ in my book!

Dr. Tran answered all of my concerns during my pregnancy. I felt that she really listened to my husband and I almost like I was her only patient. I loved our chats during visits and her staff are so friendly. I actually miss going now that my daughter is born. I would not have had such an easy pregnancy or delivery without her

When I go to Dr. Tran I wait an average of 5-10 minutes to be seen. She has an amazing bedside manner and spends extra time with us at every appointment. She also shares personal anecdotes and stories to make you feel more comfortable. She is VERY proactive about treatment, making sure you are comfortable and your baby is taken care of. She listens to every concern I've had and addresses them immediately. Her staff is amazing and recognizes me as soon as I walk in - I've never had to sign in, despite the fact I didn't transfer to her practice until I was 26 weeks. Dr. Tran remembers us, remembers my husband, and is knowledgeable about my medical history every time I walk through the door. I've also had no problems when I've had to call her after hours. She is by far the best OB in Tucson! Added plus, she has small hands! :P
