Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, MD

I was suffering from anxiety and depression. He marked me as bipolar and put me in a ton of medication. I couldn’t do anything for over a year and a half. I cried and slept and had anxiety attacks all the time and he just put me on more meds!!! I couldn’t even think clearly! I’m with a new psychiatrist now and I love her!!!! I’m on one medication with a low dose back up to calm me down if I feel the onset of an anxiety attack coming on. I’ve been going to her for a few months now and I can think clearly and do so much more without having an attack. In fact, I haven’t had one in 4 months now!!!!

He diagnosed me with something I didn’t have. He called me a liar for having certain feelings. He but me on several medications. For a year and a half I spent most of the time on the couch or in bed crying, sleeping, and having anxiety attacks. I went to a new psychiatrist 7 months ago and am now only on one medication plus a back up if I can’t calm down during an attack. I have been attack free for 4 months. Don’t waste your time trying to talk with him. He’s rude and doesn’t take you seriously and tells you what you should do. My new doctor partners with me to discuss options and actually spends time with me to help me better my health and condition. She’s even scheduled me in her lunch hour twice to make sure I had the care I needed.

Dr.Sharma is very professional and helpful. I can’t think of visiting any other doctor.

My husband,went to him for yrs and one appointment he took medicine away from him because he could not urinate in front of nurse instead of taking a sad he just took him off his med. No other choice just nothing. My husband was so depressed he hardly moved. Dr Moses put him on it and he is so much better now. I would not let anyone go to Sharma that I know. Very poor doctor

Dr Sharma is, by far, the best psychiatrist that I have ever seen!

This doctor prescribed a LOAD of medicines to my 14 year old daughter, for being a brat, basically. All she could do was sleep because she was so drugged. Her counselor did not see the need for meds but Dr. Sharma prescribed, without reaching out to her counselor. Since my daughter has been off of the meds, she is much better. The Dr., however, is being hostile towards me and not working with me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
