Dr Jana replaced my hip 5 years ago and it was a fast, healthy recovery. My life went back to normal. I have so much confidence in the care of his patients, he’s replacing the other hip. Im looking forward to getting my mobility back!

I had a terrific experience with my needed knee replacement. Dr. Jana did such a good job, that in two weeks I am having my left knee replaced. Needless to say, if my experience was bad, I wouldn't be doing the other within five months. I can't wait until my knees are healed and normal. With the way they have been, my way of life had changed dramatically. I decided I wasn't going to live (69) the rest of my life being controlled by my knees. I appreciated Dr Jana’s kindness and attention to my healing. He made me feel like I was his number one concern.

Definitely made me feel like I was a waste of his precious time. Not likely to go back to him for any reason. Will not recommend him to anyone either. Dr. Jana missed the life skill of treating people with courtesy and respect. He needs to take lessons from Dr. Keiser.

dr jana gave me my life back, was out of hospital and moving aroun within 2 days, with his new approach didnt even have to do physical therapy, it was a miracle.

Dr Jana spent a significant amount of time discussing my case. He seemed genuinely interested and caring. I appreciate that he conducts ongoing research to stay abreast of new technology, medicine and practices. I am in recovery stage of THR and very pleased with the results so far. I would recommend to others.

Kept letting out "toxic fumes" during the entire appointment. I almost left during my exam. The smell was intolerable.

Had my first hip replacement done 1--year and 5 months ago the old way. Wish I had listened to a Dr. friend that told me to go to Dr. Jana and have it done the new way. Anyway, I have not been happy with the new left hip done by another physician, in Omaha at Nebraska Med Center/Clarkson Hospital, done the old way. Still having muscle problems when I take long walks. Needed both hips replaced, and decided to talk with Dr. Jana about replacing my right hip. He was excellent to talk too, and gave me all the information I needed to proceed with the anterior approach. It was the best decision I have made in a long time. I was out of the hospital in two days, and walking with a cain instead of a walker. Within 2--weeks I was doing almost everything I was doing before the operation with minimal pain and almost no medication. Not only was the Pain level much less than I had from the first hip done the old way, but I had Muscle strength still in my leg and had no problems or… RESTRICTIONS . Recovery is so much quicker, and there is no comparison between the old way and the new way Dr. Jana is doing. MY RECOMMENDATION TO ANYONE NEEDING A NEW HIP FOR ANY REASON IS HAVE IT DONE THE NEW ANTERIOR APPROACH, AND I GUARANTEE IT WILL BE THE BEST DECISION YOU CAN MAKE. I live 450 miles away, and had my choice of any Doctors, BUT I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. JANA, AND METHODIST HOSPITAL ON THE FLOOR I WAS ON. WANT THE BEST????? DR. JANA

Dr. Jana is a great Doctor with exceptional bedside manners. He is extremely good at what he does. Thanks to him I am no longer domed to a chair.

Dr. Jana performed my knee replacement surgery and the results were nothing short of a miracle. He is truly a gifted surgeon and is very current on all the latest medical research and developments in his field. He has a calm, reassuring bedside manner. Answered all my questions, addressed my concerns, great office staff...he is just the best! My recuperation was shorter than I expected and my new knee works beautifully. Highly, highly recommend this surgeon. I will need to have the other knee replaced soon and wouldn't even consider anyone else but Dr. Jana for the surgery.
