Dr. B Alan Bottenberg, DO

I went to Dr B one time which was quite enough. I felt he was confrontational, concondescending and arrogant. As someone who is in the medical field, I have never, nor will I ever, treat a patient in such a manner. I had a routine appt. with my OB/gyn the next day. When I mentioned this he told me to have the OB/gyn call him so " he could be the one to prescribe the medications my OB/ gyn wanted me to take." Really??? If he wants to be a specialist such as an OB/gyn or even a pulmonologist then he should continue his education. My husband had a new patient appt. scheduled as well in a few days. It was immediately cancelled.

Dr. B is always there when you need him. at a moments notice you can call and his friendly staff will get you in to see the doctor as quick as they can. I trust him as he trusts that I know when something is not right wirh my body. he listens to how I feel and what I'm going through before he makes a diagnosis.

Dr. Bottenberg is the best darn internist in the state of Nevada! He is knowledgeable, friendly, listens to what you have to say and treats the whole body as opposed to just treating the particular ailment. He never gives up, even if the diagnosis is a difficult one. We literally trust him with our lives! As long as he practices, we'll be his patients if he'll have us. He calls a spade a spade, and doesn't placate or offer pills that aren't needed. His office staff are tops too. Keep up the phenomenal work!

Dr B, Marge and Anne are absolutely wonderful. I use to be a caregiver and took many of my clients to Dr B. He was so kind, patient and compassionate with them, that I than became his patient too. I am not an easy patient to fix, for some unknown reason. But if he can't fix it, he will send you to someone who can. Anne checks you in and out, she has been with Dr. B forever and she is wonderful. Marge is Dr. B's nurse, and she too is so kind and considerate. It is not often one can say they actually enjoy visiting there Dr. and not be leary of your visit. I highly recomend him and his staff, you won't be disappointed.

Dr. B, Daniella and Marge are the best! Not much else I can say. I've been a satisfied patient for 10 years - maybe even longer.

This is a small practice. The doctor, nurse practioner and nurse actually care about their patients. When I have an appointment I feel my complaints are reviewed and acted on. I believe my health is well monitored by Dr. B and his staff.

Although sometimes confrontational in manner, he knows his field thoroughly and is able to communicate this knowledge to the patient. I especially appreciated the life style changes I learned from him and his follow through to see that they were made.
