Dr. Mark Alan Brown, MD

I was VERY RUDELY refused admission to Doctor Brown’s Office because I “asked too many questions concerning the Admitting Paperwork.” Had fallen & needed medicine for swelling & bleeding sores, & a referral to a “Wound Specialist.” All MED info was in admission paperwork along with Medicare, Tricare, DOD Military ID & Louisiana Driver’s License. Office manager noted physical pain & limp w/cane; yet demanded I “IMMEDIATELY LEAVE OFFICE” BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT GOING TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS! She offered me no assistance in getting back to my ride. I contacted a Lawyer about my questions w/their billing policy & there was reason clear up the questions.

Dr. Brown my personal feelings towards you are of reverence. I am a 62 years aged African American male who admittedly do not always treat your health advice with the seriousness it deserves. During my most recent annual exam you correctly identified a health concern that I had chosen to ignore. The medical care I received at Regional Urology was excellent. The medical staff were all professional and caring people. So thank you for being the truly wonderful doctor and human being.

I received my new patient bill from the office. I called to question the bill, and the billing lady was incompetent and could not answer my questions. After I paid my bill, I received a letter from the office stating I was kicked out of the practice due to me questioning my bill. Not to mention the tone of the letter speaking to me like I am incompetent. All over questioning the bill?

Dr. Brown is a fine doctor.
