Dr. Alan Hunter Daniels, MD

Wonderful way with patients. He listens, answers questions, debates a bit to be sure you want what you say you want and together we come up with the game plan. Totally liked his approach. I have utmost confidence in him. And both his PA’s are totally competent and spend as much time as you need. Never felt rushed. What a novel thing!

Dr Daniel’s was very polite and informative. Answered all my questions and guided me through the the MRI scans and helped me come up with a plan to recover.

I feel the spinal fusion was a success and and greatly appreciate Dr. Daniel’s skills as a surgeon. I did, however, feel as though I was not given information about exactly what went on during the surgery and after. And my postop visit was not worth the time it took me to get to Rhode Island. However, I would still want Dr. Daniels to do my spinal fusion.

Amazingly smooth process from start to finish. Nurse and PA excellent and very relaxed & approachable. Dr Daniel’s has an infectious and engaging ‘bedside’ manner although our encounter was in the consulting room. Shows a personal interest and explains things clearly. I was struck by his expression of regret at probably not being my surgeon as I’m leaving Providence at the end of April. But I’d have every confidence in him and will highly recommend him to others.

Went in for an initial consult for back pain and a referral from two of my own doctors. His staff was very welcoming and the possible procedures were explained fully. Dr. Daniels was personable and displayed a positive manner.

Great Dr. He listened to me explain my back issues and offered up a few ways to handle it. Very professional and very personable. Seems to be on top of things and well organized. His staff was great as well!

Dr. Daniels and his staff are excellent. They thoroughly review my records before my office visits so prepared to discuss current and nest steps.

Dr. Daniels and Krista his PA are wonderful. Dr. Daniels is warm and patiently listens to all questions and concerns. He takes his time to answer questions and explain his reasoning. I have had 2 successful surgeries done by him. A cervical fusion a few years ago. I have no more pain and full mobility. The second was in March 2025 and was a spinal fusion from T8 to my sacrum. Almost my entire spine and I have gone from agony to a mild ache. I can’t say enough about how much he cares about his patients. Excellent spinal surgeon. Thank you Dr. Daniels!

His manner was EXCELLENT. He was informative but VERY calming in his delivery. I never felt nervous or rushes. The entire team we met, Brianna and Crista, were the same. I could not have been treated better.
