Dr. Alan Hjelle graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison Medical School in 1993 and after completing a Family Practice Residency Program at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, joined the practice at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona, in the summer of 1996. Dr. Hjelle is board certified in Family. He and his wife Michelle have two children, Bo and Emma. Dr. Hjelle enjoys movie going, sports and recreational singing.
