Dr. Alan Kirt Munoz, MD

I was worried with the idea I may have had cancer. However, as soon as I met with Dr. Munoz I knew everything would be ok. He had a plan and followed it through. He has a great bedside manner, straight to the point while making sure I was comfortable and heard. He is a wonderful OB GYN Oncologist.

Surgery was successful and less invasive than I expected.

I was referred to you, Dr. Munoz by my regular gynecologist, Dr. McDonald, due to a uterine mass and other issues. The compassion and professionalism you and your office provided was amazing! Having my first appointment, hearing I needed a total hysterectomy was very hard to hear but you and Christy answered all my questions and put me at ease. It was a whirlwind of having my surgery 6 1/2 weeks later. Surgery day was very scary but Dr. Munoz put me at ease when he “hugged” my feet and said I was in good hands. That sweet gesture warmed my heart! Praise Jesus the mass was not cancerous and the surgery was a smooth success. I will probably never see you again as a patient, I can’t thank you enough for your care and I am forever grateful!! I highly recommend Dr Munoz!

Dr Muñoz knows what he is doing. He has save my life as well very caring. Together we are beating cervical cancer. His staff and chemo nurses are phenomenal.

My sister was a patient of him years ago. She was a young girl with cervical cancer. She made a comment to him that if there was a way to get financial aid and he suggested she sell her house and move in somewhere smaller. She did chemo and had a hysterectomy. After the chemo he did surgery again and again. Surgery after surgery after surgery. I never understood on what he was operating on when he took everything out. She was in the hospital more than anywhere else. At some point my sister said that she felt like he just kept doing surgery on her to keep her weak and in the hospital. She contacted another doctor’s office and spoke to the nurse. The nurse told my sister that if she could get out of the hospital the nurse could get her an appointment asap. My sister agreed. My sister died before she could get out of the hospital. I now work in oncology, the comments I hear about him are the absolute worst. Do your research and go to someone else please for your own sake and good. DONT GO… TO HIM HES A CROOK AND JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY!! Please.

I've been under the doctor's care for a year now. Surgery, chemo and multiple follow ups. He is a fantastic doctor. Listens, hears and is always forward thinking on what you need as a patient and person. I have complete trust and confidence that Dr. Munoz is there fighting for me.

At first I was content with what ever he said. At my 1st follow-up appointment, I realized he was condescending and full of GOD complex, and decided to get a second opinion. When my treatment stopped working, and the side effects of the medications was becoming a problem( My blood pressure was very high and I had to be on blood pressure medications). He became irritated and took it out on me and told me that I had blood pressure before starting my treatment. Which was not true. My specialty pharmacist and my 2nd opinion Doctor agree with me that high blood pressure was the main side effect of one of my meds. I am now 3 month off those meds but still on blood pressure meds. I am hoping to stop taking it some day. Patient center care as per the institute of medicine(IOF) is what should be practice nowadays, not provider center or disease center care. There is definitely a need of practice update.

I had an appointment with dr. t Munoz today it's not always that you meet someone who makes you feel as if they've known you for years I thank him for all that he has done for me

I have been going to Dr. Munoz for many years. I have always been happy with his diagnosis and his treatment plans. The office staff is very helpful. I had a situation where I felt I needed to see Dr. Munoz o short notice, the scheduler got me in an there was still not a long wait. I would recommend Dr. Munoz to anyone.

I am looking for a new gynecologist and saw Dr Munoz today. He asked why I was there and interrupted my explanation. Dr Munoz proceeds to give me an unsolicited second opinion, often scolding me for my previous gynecologist choices and statements. Other patients said that he listens, this was not my experience. He never let me complete a sentence until he asked my thoughts. I told him I didn’ like him and was dismissed from the practice.
