Dr. Alan Dale Purdy, MD

Doesn’t spend any time listening or checking in on symptoms. Referrals take way too long and I have had multiples called in wrong or not at all. Prescribed medication twice that was dangerous and conflicted both with medications and conditions. I had to remind him of both. Seriously, the worst experience I have ever had in any health care I have received. Don’t waste your time.

This was by far the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. He wouldn’t ever let me hardly speak, dismissed my symptoms as anxiety, and would not let me get a word in edge wise Refused to do any testing as he had his mind made up I was insane Never spent more than 5 minutes with me. Providence advertises dignity and respect to the patient. This is so false. I have changed providers and been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus and Raynauds Phenomena but I guess that’s just anxiety

I have never had a physician treat me so rudely! He contradicted everything my specialist told me and basically said there was nothing wrong with me even though testing proves otherwise. He also wouldn’t let me get a word in. When I did speak, he completely turned his back towards me and ignored everything I asked or said.

I went in for a physical and he hardly did anything. Was in the room for less than 5 minutes. Didn't even let me finish asking my questions.

I understand that hyperthyroidism is deadly, if not treated. That makes me question why I had to find out that he had put it in my charts a year earlier, before the disease got much worse? Save a life and retire

If I would've stayed with Dr. Purdy I would have been dead by now. I wouldn't even take my dog to him

Far and away the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. Spent less than 5 minutes in the room, misread notes in the computer, and told me to go back to the physician that sent me there.

Doctor Purdy is an outstanding doctor, having what looks like over 35 years of experience in this field I can definitely say that I have found a doctor I can trust my kids to be seen by. He does not prescribe hard pain killers for you junkies. Only good quality family health care. Thank you for everything!

Dr. Purdy was our family physician for 19 years, until we moved to the coast. He always made us smile with his unique sense of humor, we received excellent care from him and his staff.

He is an absolutely amazing doctor, i wouldnt take my family to anybody else! :) Definitely one of the best docs in town. He took his time with us, but was quick at the same time.
