Dr. Alan Roy Marks, MD

Dr Marks retired in 2014 I believe. He saved my life in 2001 from stage 4 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I had eight lesions in the liver. He was the most thorough, compassionate Doctor, more a friend helping me through a very difficult time. Thank you Alan!

i've known dr marks for around 15 years! he and his professional staff have seen me thru rough times and glad times as well! when i was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997, he allowed me the benefit of reviewing my options for treatment and tho he did have a course he preferred, he allowed me as the patient to make the final choice. to a person who had just lost all control (she thot she had) over her life, getting behind my decision was very empowering. that is commendable behavior in a physician. is he perfect? does he walk on water? no, but then neither do i, but he is a good person and a great doctor!

This man and the grace of God saved my life twice. He is one of my most favoeite people on this planet! I can't say enough good things about him in the space available. He is hard core tough and exacting. You want the best, go see him.

Dr. Marks is excellent. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and the quality of care I received during my bout with breast cancer. The staff at the San Marco office was unbelievable during chemo sessions.

Dr. Marks has kept me healthy and I have all the confidence he will continue to do so. The office staff, especially the checkout area is poor and lack luster - the patients seem to make their day worse. The MA is scattered and disorganized, but wants to be helpful. There is no care to customer care and if the doctor is running behind no-one takes the time to inform you. The Office Manager, Lisa, does not see that customer satisfaction is her job and blames the caliber of the office staff. For a full positive visit go to the Baymeadows/9A location. Even the office staff at the Baptist downtown location say the 9A location has more personalized service.....

I love dr. marks and everyone on staff in his office. they are a great group of people to have on your side when your doing battle with cancer. i am now working on becoming a 14 year survivor! God is good and dr. marks and his staff are pretty good too!

Unbelievable doctor. Always had my best interests at heart. Was always helpful and patient with me and my wife.
