I have practiced allergy at Kaiser Santa Rosa since 1988. I was initially drawn to the field of allergy as a pediatric resident at UC San Francisco where I took a special interest in treating children with asthma. I learned to appreciate the importance of teaching and prevention and that has carried over to all aspects of my allergy practice. I believe the more my patients know, the better they will do.
I also believe that the more I know about my patients, the better they will do. I try to keep my patients' values in mind when I make my recommendations.
…I particularly like practicing at Kaiser Santa Rosa where physician notes, laboratory, X-ray, and pharmacy records, are accessible on my office and exam room computers and where a consultation with one of my colleagues is a walk down the hall or a 5-digit phone extension away.
Above all, it is my patients who make my job satisfying. I have met many wonderful people in my work here and feel privileged that they trust me with their care.

In addition to my primary role as allergist, I have been Chief of the Allergy Department at Santa Rosa Kaiser since 1988. I meet regularly with the different Allergy Chiefs of Northern California where we work on new ways to improve care for allergy patents. In the Santa Rosa Allergy Department, we are dedicated to helping allergy and asthma sufferers stay healthy. I have worked with many of our staff for over 20 years. I value partnering with my fellow physicians, nurses and reception staff in the Allergy department to make your care experience exceptional and memorable.
