Dr. Albert G. Wendt, MD

Dr. Wendt treated me for breast cancer almost 25 years ago. He is not only a brilliant oncologist but the consummate professional. His care is characterized by the highest standard of kindness and compassion--there is no one better in the field!!

I’ve seen Dr. went one time I moved to Massachusetts to Arizona and I have metastatic breast cancer And my doctor back home at dana farber put me on Ibrance been on it for three years and when I went to see Dr. went he was talking to me about taking me off of it I called my doctor back home and told her what he wanted to do so she had to call him and tell him that I need to stay on the medication because basically it’s blocking the cancer from coming back like I said it’s been three years and they will come back But the medicines been blocking it for three years and hopefully he’ll keep blocking it.. I don’t understand why this doctor would tell me I should not stay on it. Confused This is my life we’re talking about just might be looking for another doctor He told me that he thought the cancer was gone because they had removed from my lung So he had me believing that it wasn’t going to come back just to kick me in the gut again because my other Dr. at dana farber Told me that it… would.

Dr. Wendt has been my doctor since Dec. 2016. He is the most caring & compassionate doctor I have ever been to. He always takes the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I feel blessed that I am going to such a wonderful doctor for my breast cancer.

An asset to his profession. He really listens. He explain things thoroughly. He takes his time with you to make sure that all of your questions are answered.

The best doctor I have ever had - in any field of medicine. Compassionate. Knowledgeable and helpful with all questions/issues. Spends quality time with patients. Made chemotheraphy not the horrible experience I expected. Keeps current with all medical research and publications related to breast cancer.

I couldn't have been more blessed to have Dr. Wendt as my oncologist. His knowledge, caring ways, and time he spent with me explaining my treatments and care are beyond what any Dr. I have had in 59 years!! He has always been there for me with any questions or care I needed, even at mid-night on a Saturday night. Couldn't have asked for a better Dr. to get me through my breast cancer journey. Absolutely would refer anyone I know to him if they need an amazing man to care for them. Rating of 4 is not enough--from his staff to him, they deserve a million stars!! :) :)

Saved my sister's life! The best...don't go for the pretty high end suites of the Mayo when you can have one on one caring attention...look beyond the furniture people.
