Dr. Alcibiades J. Rodriguez, MD

This doctor is rude and disinterested. I waited nearly 2 hours to be seen only for him to rush through my appointment. He doesn’t return messages to put in orders/Rx for equipment. The office is just as rude.

Terrible. Avoid at all costs. To say he has a poor bedside manner is a gross understatement. Rude, dismissive, berates patients, made me extremely uncomfortable, appears to have a problem with LGBTQ people, speaks in broken English through a mask and gets angry when you ask what he said.

Dr. Rodriguez was excellent: Smart, Compassionate and Insightful.

I found him to be impatient, dismissive and arrogant. Does not listen, or care about the patient's feelings or stress level. Would not recomment going through all the effort involved in doing a sleep test to end up with very limited feedback. He just can't be bothered to explain or elaborate!! All the degrees in the world are useless if you are arrogant.

Dr Rodriguez lacks compassion . Dealing with a new diagnosis of sleep apnea and treatment is stressful. Dr Rodriguez makes light of this and belittles the emotional toll on the patient. A few kind words of support would go a long way. He offered none, and was demeaning in his approach.

he's not interested in his patients, doesn't return any emails about questions, yes I TOOK HIS TIME AWAY! and he doesn't listen to my concerns , I have to question his credentials about sleep!!!!!!!

He really doesnt know much about sleep disorders. He is a neurologist. I was very dissapointed.

Dr. Alcibiades Rodriguez was very unfriendly. I would not recommend him at all. His English is to poor to understand. See someone else.

Not only was the visit expensive and not covered at all by my insurance, not only was his 'advice' on insomnia nothing beyond the basics you could read on any website, and not only was the wait time insufferable... when I finally got a hold of him to try to discuss my sleep schedule and a negative interaction I had (which took multiple days, mind you) he had the audacity to start yelling at me saying I had no idea what I was talking about, asking if we were even speaking the same language, and refusing to factor in the various aspects revolving around my diagnosis. The icing on the cake was when I called the office to cancel my appointment, telling them that I was deeply offended at his insulting manner, and BOTH of the women I spoke to said they "completely understood" what I meant. Completely unacceptable from a medical professional.

Worse thing about this doctor was a feeling of detachment despite his ostensibly courteous and "polite" bedside manner. I felt like he was going through motions in office visits and f/u tel. contacts, and that he wasn't a good listener. Often, after a conversation, I realized that he hadn't "heard" what I was telling him, but rather had projected onto me what he thought I was saying or was about to say. I suspect he's really bright but not very interested in patient care. Might be a great researcher.
