Dr. Alexander Khammar is one of the few fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologists in the Chicagoland area. He grew up in New Jersey, went to medical school on the east coast, did his residency on the west coast, and now resides and practices in the Chicagoland area. Dr. Khammar strives not only to provide the highest quality eye care in an ethical, efficient and compassionate manner, but to remain at the forefront of his profession. He serves as a physician leader in his field by teaching other doctors, volunteers in the public service programs of his professional associations, and educates the general public through lectures.
