Dr. Alexander Lee Matz, MD

Dr. Matz apparently has excellent credentials but he totally lacks a personality and bedside manner. I’m not sure he enjoys his job or not. Upon entering the exam room, he barely acknowledged my presence as the patient. He asked a few questions in a voice that was so low in volume that I had to ask him to repeat himself. We discussed pain medications - actually the discussion consisted of Dr Matz mentioning a pain drug that he’d prescribe. He gave me the bare minimum of information & almost ignored my questions. Then he got up to leave the room, saying that I should make a return to office appointment in 4 weeks. I almost feel like I got a glimpse of the future when we’re being treated by robots! Dr Matz may have a vast knowledge of medicine but a good doctor? I’m not sure about that! I’d have hoped to see a doctor with a good bedside manner who would show empathy & actually discuss my condition with me.

I was scheduled to see Dr. Matz due to a change in scheduling. His attitude was incomprehensible. You could tell that he did not want to be where he was at that time or maybe even in his field of work. Getting an answer out of him was like pulling teeth, and by the end of my visit, I would rather have teeth pulled than go through the experience of seeing him ever again. By my next office visit one month later with my usual doctor, I was told that he was no longer there. Hopefully, he is happier and a better physician at his new medical facility.

Dr. Matz has been a good Dr. for me!! no more Injections!
