I have had some very good doctors in the past, so I expected very high quality care. Surprisingly, Dr. Sherzer surpassed my high expectations. He listened carefully to my history and concerns. He was patient and attentive, yet unusually responsive and action-oriented. In during one visit, Dr. Sherzer helped me resolve several issues and he gave me effective direction two others. I told my wife how happy I was with this doctor. She now sees Dr. Sherzer and is equally happy.

Wonderful bedside manner, listens to your concerns, open to suggestions for your care. We had an issue with prescriptions after my hospital discharge. Dr. Sherzer promptly called me and my pharmacy to take care of the issue. He is an extremely nice guy!

Dr. Sherzer has taken care of my elderly mother for six months now has has been wonderful to us. He takes as much time as he needs and is very open to suggestions. When test comes back, he promptly reviews them a lets us know the results.

While he was in New Jersey, Dr. Sherzer made continued extraordinary efforts to help my brother-in-law. No other doctor tried nearly as hard to help a kind man who was beset by the twin demons of depression and alcholism and who suffered physically as a result. Dr. Sherzer's treatment was effective and his interest in the patient never waned. Dr. Sherzer is extremely intelligent and, as others have noted, flexible and humorous.

This guy is rather an original, has a sense of humor from beyond the grave but is overall sort of a genius, kind of a creep as a brother but seriously smart and funny and good-spirited, also honest to a fault.

My husband retired from his busy internal medicine practice over 10 years ago. Alec Sherzer is now his physician and my husband is extremely complimentary about his thoroughness in taking patient history, his listening skills and the conservative manner in ordering tests (my husband's way of practicing medicine). His diagnostic skills are excellent and accurate. We would highly recommend Dr Sherzer to any person seeking an attentive physician.
