Dr. Alexander A Soukas, MD

I have been fortunate to have had some world class doctors in the Boston and Baltimore areas. Dr. Soukas is my favorite by far. His technical understanding and application to treatment have been spot on. He visited me 2-3 times a day while hospitalized and was my advocate with the staff. He is also a very genuine and nice man who has honest interest and concern for his patients. I have waited for him at times, but it is because he doesn't rush patients through their appointments. The few times it happened, he acknowledges you and gives you updates.

I met Dr. Soukas when I had my cancerous thyroid removed. At that time he was associated with Thyroid Associates at Mass General. He remains one of my all time favorite doctors. He is caring, proactive, involved, and brilliant. He treats his patients with respect and is a wonderful listener. I only wish he was still my doctor.

Four years ago, I was admitted with a condition that was a mystery to many attending doctors. Dr. Soukas was the one doctor, who stuck by me and exhausted all avenues in trying to determine exactly what this condition was that caused me to become paralyzed and on a respirator. He genuinely cared about me and is amazed at my progress each time I see him at his office. I was very lucky to be under his care and to still see him as an outpatient, we need more doctors, like Dr. Soukas....
