Throughout his career, Dr. Alfred Tinger has presented research, published articles, and lectured in regional, national and international venues on breast cancer, prostate cancer, head and neck cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, skin cancer, smoking cessation, radiation treatment techniques, and quality assurance. Dr. Tinger has extensive experience in brachytherapy techniques for cancers of the prostate, breast, cervix, endometrium, and liver. He holds a special focused practice certification in Brachytherapy from the American College of Radiology. Dr. Tinger is the Chief of Radiation Oncology at Northern Westchester Hospital. Most recently, Dr. Tinger was presented with the "Castle Connolly, America's Top Doctors for 2014" award.
