Everyone is so nice and courteous, Dr Marti is an exceptional person

Don't use North American Spine!!!! This place plain sucks. They have a telemarketing team to harass you, call you over and over. Then once you say ok I guess I'm ready, You give them your Insurance they call and say, You Qualify. I went in and left with even worst pain than I had before going. I limped into their Fort Worth office and all they said is it takes 3 months and we like to see you halfway healed. then I go back and its up to 6-12 months. B/S! I went and had another MRI and it showed the same L-4 L-5 disc problems. Not only that I now have Numbness down my left leg to my toes, BAD PAIN. To sum it up. I'm went and had another place that the doctors are REAL surgeons! They Repaired the L-4 L-5 disc but I'm still in pain from North American Spine and loosing money not being able to work. I would never suggest anyone going here. I plan on looking into a LAWSUIT.

Dr. Marti balances cautious procedure with effective treatment of symptoms. He has carefully treated and helped my pain over a long time.

He and staff were awesome! I have been pain free for 6 1/2 years and NO SURGERY! Epidural steroid injection is the way to go!

The doctor REQUIRES a $100 drug test on every visit, even if he has never or will never prescribe any drugs for you. As for me, he offered no pain meds and scheduled me for a spinal injection. No one told me that I had to take 3 spinal injections for the meds to work and no follow-up appointment was made by the staff. So, I figured he had done all he would do, and went back to my family doctor very disappointed. It soon became very obvious that my gripping about the drug test ever time I walked into the door, was not acceptable to the doctor or his staff. So, I'm happy to move on. My family doctor takes very good care of me. This "Pain Specialist" was a waste of time and money. My family doctor has had all the MRIs done and even a pain analysis accomplished. The pain analysis proved my sciatic pain was real and the nerve sheaths at my knees have burst open, I assume from heavy squats and being a gym rat for far too many years. The nerve sheaths bursting exasperates the pain. And, even… though I take Tylenol 4s now, the pain wakes me every morning around 4-5 AM. So, I lay there hoping it will subside until I just have to get up. My experience is pain management clinics are a waste of time for the patients. Why go to a doctor that has SO much paranoia about the FDA and DEA, when your family doctor is so super, really knows your issues, and takes such good care of you?

The office do sent have there self togather I drive from Dallas to get a refill and a doc visit which shouldn't cost cash more than 100 ,and these people tell me 125 for office visit and 100 for a drug test I didnt have to take but they made me take . Don't go here all the procedures I had didn't work and they have poor customer service .

He is a phenomenal doctor. He is thorough, to the point, and reassuring. I rate his staff as I did him. Physically, I am incapacitated right now due to my surgery ,but, I am so pleased with my relation with his staff, and I will improve.

First off HE is a Dr. of ANESTHESIOLOGY only! not an orthopedic spine surgeon. He NEVER informed me that he wasn't an orthopedic surgeon ( I assumed that he was because he was seeing me at the "North American Spine Institute" ). He was very abrupt, no bed side manner, found his assistant more informative and helpful. The pain I was having returned within 3 months, the surgery was a waste of my time and money. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Appointments times are great & set to patients perference. Wait time is short most of the time and they rarely over schedule appointments. Time spent with each patient is very good and always take time to listen & answer questins.
