One of the most thorough doctors I have ever been too. Very patient. Took her time. Doesn’t leave any stone unturned. Highly recommend

Had to wait almost an hour to see her, very delayed appointment. Doctor barely listened to me, just kept recommending strong medications to take for menopausal symptoms, even going to anti depressants! Not reassuring in any way.

Didn’t listen to any of my concerns. Tried to force me into something I had no interest in doing. Also she was very behind in seeing me.

I was sent to Dr. Gibbons for a second opinion while having trouble conceiving. Had 3 appointments, the doctor was never once on time. She lacks warmth, empathy and never once in our time together did I feel like she ever gave a crap of whether or not I actually conceived even though I was clearly at the point of tears of frustration one appointment. No one ever followed up, I had to ask for every appointment, every test and every prescription, meaning I had to learn what could be wrong with me and suggest it to her. I did not go to medical school, so if you're going to drag me into your office (an hour drive round trip), make me wait an hour for an appointment then you should do your job. Instead the last time I saw her without ever suggesting an ultrasound to check for problems or checking my egg reserves, the entire appointment consisted of her writing me a Clomid prescription (and explaining it, like I hadn't asked for it or researched it online on my own) and telling me… to make an appointment with an IVF clinic because she clearly didn't want to bother with me anymore, not because that's the next step for me. You're welcome for that $50 co-pay, you did nothing to earn it. By the way, they forced me to make the physical appointment to get the stupid co-pay instead of just calling in the prescription to my local pharmacy. Curious to see if they'll ever call to check in with me, but in the meantime I will be finding another doctor and you should too.

Dr. Gibbons cares more about me as a patient than any other doctor I've ever seen. I wish every doctor took the time to listen, like Dr. Gibbons does. She was instrumental in getting me diagnosed with cancer when all of my other doctors missed it, and has always gone above and beyond in effort seeing me through treatment and the aftermath. I live far away now, and only wish I could continue seeing Dr. Gibbons at Summit Medical Group. I never give a second thought to punctuality because when I've been the one having major problems (like being diagnosed with cancer while pregnant) I appreciate those extra minutes that the doctor spends with me instead of sticking to the exact 15 minute time limit for appointments. On the days where I'm completely healthy and coming in for just a check-up, I am quick to forgive any tardiness because someone else in there is having a problem that requires more of the doctor's time, which I appreciate and understand. As a side note - when I started… seeing my oncologist at Sloan-Kettering in New York, the nurse informed that any time I had an appointment I should expect that it would take the ENTIRE DAY because you never know what emergencies will arise that day, and the sick patients always take priority. In OBGYN, I would imagine something similar is happening with childbirth because women can't control which day/hour they go into labor, and if it will conflict with the doctor's scheduled appointments that day. I'd always choose to see a doctor who's known for being a great doctor rather than being known their punctuality.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience! I was a new patient with an extensive medical history. She took a nano-minute to go over my medical history. She flat out refused to look up my files to review what my doctor of 14+ years (I recently moved to NJ) sent to her staff - and even went on to say birth control pills would solve my problems. IF she had read my history or even listened to me, she would know that is not the case. She refused to believe I had a UTI, even though she never took a urine sample, but noted the possibility during the exam. She struggled through the exam and at one point she had to leave the room to find a smaller instrument to open the cervix. She came back muttering she needed more help and 5 people were waiting to see her. I left her office shocked by the lack of professionalism. I ended up back at my Urologist who took care my UTI and was at a loss for words as to why she missed all signs of a UTI. If you are a run of the mill patient who is looking for birth… control, she'll fit the bill. Beyond that, she is not useful.

Dr Gibbons is amazing. I went to her for a second opinion after 3 miscarriages. She reviewed my entire file, explained everything to me, and discussed my options. She was patient, kind and proactive. I went from feeling hopeless to optimistic. I had some time sensitive tests that she worked quickly to facilitate. Her nurses, particularly Linda, were so nice and efficient. I can't say enough positive things. So happy to have found her.

Dr Gibbons has been a wonderful doctor to me for the past four years. Over 30+ appointments she has only been late once due to being called into surgery. She makes you feel extremely comfortable every time you see her. I don't normally write reviews but just wanted to let everyone know I have had nothing but great experiences at Summit Medical.

She has been late to every appointment. I made it a point to always make the first appointment of the day and to make sure she is not coming from surgery. Of the five or six times I saw her, she was late every time with the average being more than an hour. I am only leaving this comment because she has never offered a reason, and never apologizes. This is a standard courtesy whether it's your fault for being late or not. She is a great doctor but be ready to wait if you have an office appointment with her. The office staff readily acknowledges this issue of always running late. The practice at summit medical group is great but sometimes you don't have a choice with who you're seeing. Maybe this is why she seems to not care about punctuality.

I had to wait 3 months to even have an appointment with the doctor. Then, on Appointment Day, I rearranged my entire schedule (along with that of my staff at my place of work), only to find out that I would have to wait for an hour for a CHANCE to be seen (no guarantee). Unacceptable for a practice that serves today's working women.
