Dr. Alinda R. Cox, MD

Alinda R. Cox, MD, Is one of the best Obstetrician-gynecologist in Austin, Texas, I know. I switched doctors because I did not feel like my health was priority, so I searched and found Alinda R. Cox. When I tell you, I have never felt so comfortable. Best decision I made when it came to my health. She made sure I was healthy enough to have a baby. She even noticed things my other doctor did not see and addressed them quickly. I highly recommend Alinda R. Cox because health is wealth.

I was excited to find an experienced female physician of color. Unfortunately, Dr. Cox has been an incredible disappointment. I have never had a doctor so disinterested in my health in my life. I come prepared and tell her all of my symptoms and history and she stares blankly and then follows up asking for the same information I just provided her! This has happened twice. She does not follow up on issues, but pushes them off as fast as she by minimizing their importance or pushing you off to a specialist. One time I told her what the specialist she sent me to said and that it didn't address my issue. She had a complete look of apathy on her face and told me to get dressed and she would find more information. She then had her nurse come into the room and tell me Dr. Cox referred you to (same specialist). One time I came with a serious concern and a bunch of questions. She could not have cared less, answered my questions with as little detail or concern as one possibly could, and ended… with an annoyed, "anything else?" Sorry to say, this doctor simply does no listen or care. I've had enough and will be finding a new doctor as soon as possible.
