Dr. Alison Metherell Mann, MD

Dr. Mann is amazing. Great communication/information and full of energy. Always so positive and does great with the kids. She’s always available when you need her and is more than happy to help you out with anything you need. Love her as my kid’s pediatrician.

Dr. Mann is very knowledgable she takes her time to answer all and any questions we have. We are always thankful for her wonderful care with our son. Highly recommend her

Attention to patient, carrying. Listen to all concerns; prescribed a treatment and proactively followed up twice in 48h on how my daughter is responding to treatment; I also like that she explains how the medication is working and when it is becoming effective so as a mom I keep an eye on progress. Seriously the best P there ever existed!

Dr. Mann is so encouraging to us as parents and engaged and excited with our daughter. We've never felt rushed or like we had anything less than her full attention. We always leave feeling like we have the information and support we need to make sure our daughter is healthy. The office staff is also great and anytime we've had to call after hours we've gotten the help we need. In between visits they've been very responsive to questions or concerns if my daughter has a rash or fever.

Dr Mann was definitely the pediatrician I needed for my son. She spoke in my language--evidence-based treatments and up to date data. I had to take one star off due to the wait time (it was about 45 minutes before we were seen by her), but once I interacted with her, I understood why it took so long to see us... she really listened to her patient's family's concerns, and my Mum and I loved that about her. She didn't sugar coat either and just presented facts. She was also honest if she didn't know something, which makes her human and very personable. I'm glad we switched our providers and ended up with her.

Dr. Mann is an amazing doctor. My son has been her patient back in the Balboa Blvd. office. She is such a good doctor that we moved the practice together with her (even though the commute for us is oven an hour now). She is totally worth it. My son had terrible terrible food allergies for almost 3 years and bad reflux. He had been severely underweight and in general not in great spirit as he was always in pain. Dr. Mann not only nailed the diagnosis when different specialists were struggling but also she found a right medicine for him. It turned out that my son was allergic to the medicines themselves! My son is super healthy and happy now but the first 3 years of his life were extremely challenging. I haven’t slept a single night for 3 years and was an emotional wreck. Dr. Mann was helping us through out the entire time and made me feel a “good mother”. She always had some comforting words to say to me as mother while still being thorough and detailed oriented about my son. Now we… have another baby (a girl) who has the same issues as my son. Naturally dr. Mann is her pediatrician as well. We did not consider any other doctor closer to our home even in the pandemic. She is absolutely THE BEST PEDIATRICIAN THERE IS!

I was fit in on the same day into a busy schedule and didn’t have to wait long. Everyone in the office is very friendly. Love Dr. Mann she is so sweet and personable.

Dr. Mann was very personable. Every subject I brought up, she had information and research on to educate me about. I felt like she was a good friend helping me with my kids.

Dr. Mann is such a caring and genuine soul! When you walk out of that room you are happy and grateful to have met someone as kind as her. Especially since she's in charge of your child's health. I wish everyone could have such a professional, intelligent, intuitive, and empathetic doctor in their life, but I'm a realist and know not everyone can, so I'm thankful. However, if you have a chance to switch and live in LB/OC or willing to make the drive I suggest you look her up. Top notch!!!
