Dr. Alison Geraldine Stalzer, DO

I had a normal check up with Dr. Stalzer and it was awful. She is the most condescending human I’ve met. I was in her office and she checked up on my IUD, she asked if i had a partner. I said no and she said “well why did you get the IUD then?” I said “for birth control” she said “well why do you need birth control if you don’t have a partner”... Excuse me?! Ridiculous. I have heard her being like this to multiple people.

I was in Tripoint for a total hysterectomy and this doctor was on call. I thought being "on call" meant anyone in the hospital under the care of this practice could call her. She acted like I should not have called her and made me feel like I was overreacting to an awful migraine. I spit up 4 times and was pulling my hair out when I called for her at 3:00 a.m. I would have rather been sleeping but was in so much pain and the nurse, Nadia, couldn't seem to grasp that I had an actual headache and was not having "anxiety". After prescribing a migraine medicine, on top of the vicodin and another drug for imflamation, I was able to sleep for a few hours. Thanks, Dr. Stalzer, for making me feel like I had no right to bother you and I'm very sorry for "calling" on you when you were "on call".

I switched to Dr. Stalzer and I absolutely love her care. Not only did she really listen to my concerns, she provided support and options for exploring my issues further I love Dr. Stalzer's bedside manner and her professionalism.
