Dr. Alka Sawhney, MD

My wife has been Dr Sawhney's patient for the past year. As a Registered Nurse, I greatly appreciate Dr Sawhney's kind and caring manner. She listens well to our concerns and questions. She has explained each step- tests, plans, expectations. We have confidence in her skills and expertise, to guide us in living with quality of life despite a difficult diagnosis.

Been seeing Dr Sawhney for almost 15 years. She's kind, knowledgeable, incredibly thorough and gives me a say in my treatment. She's a 2nd mom. Definitely the best hematologist, grateful for her.

if this is your dr, please go elsewhere. my grandmother was pumped with so much chemo that she died faster than she was supposed to. she was given blood and chemo, got a infection after, then was told the infection was from her cat. sitting here with no grandmother now, i can only hope you’ll find another oncologist that will not help end someone’s life. I will be reaching out to desantis as well on medical malpractice laws as they are not right. please save your loved ones.

I feel the oncologist was more interested in profits before people

I have been seeing Dr. Sawhney for about three years now.I Have ITP & T-cell lymphoma (very early stages) My Husband saw her in 2005 for thymus cancer.He is currently still her patient. She is very knowledgeable. Wonderful carring personality and really knows her medicine. I would recommend her in a minute
