Dr. Alkesh C Amin, MD

Dr Amin is great and his nurse is very sweet as well, unfortunately its not her you'll deal with other than during your appt. I understand why everyone loves him. I do too! He's thorough, patient, kind and attentive. Then there is everything between appts... he is convinced that Kay (receptionist) is just misunderstood, but she is very clearly just rude and all the office staff acts as if you're just a nuisance. (Excluding Mrs Amin) Any paperwork, refills, anything of that sort nearly always takes weeks and repeated attempts. I have had hospital staff tell me they despise dealing with his office, as well as other Drs offices and pharmacies. No one wants the hassle of dealing with his office. He is a great Doctor, but if he doesn't get some good office help, he's going to be losing patients. He could do SO much better with friendly, qualified, trustworthy staff. If you can't trust your staff enough to feel comfortable delegating responsibilities to them, then they really aren't of much… help, especially when they are snarky with your patients on top of it. Time for change! One way or another..

Dr. Amin is amazing! Thinking of switching Dr. simply because of his receptionist! Apparently “you don’t have a nurse” She is very unpleasant!!

Dr. Amin is amazing I have been seeing him for approximately 6 years, he really cares about his patients!

Excellent family doctor

I was one of his first patients when he came to area and have recently changed. He is okay if you have no problems, but when you do he and his staff seem to have no empathy, or feel you need a little extra attention. He should hire a good nurse who could talk to you intelligently and needs a good office manager to train the office help.

Dr. Amin may be a good doctor but his office staff is pitiful. Very unorganized, can't get test results. I had to call 3 times to get my test results. Turns out I had a bladder infection and didn't find out until 10 days after the bloodwork! Both my husband and I have had other tests made and it's almost impossible to find out results. He has no nurses. Uses his office staff to be "nurses". Very frustrating to deal with. If you don't have high blood pressure, you will after dealing with these people.

Have been patient for 10+ yrs. Dr Amin is competent and caring... a really good dr. If that were not the case, would have found another dr, since wait time is ALWAYS an hour or more. Also had difficulty getting test results from staff. Staff is courteous, but not very competent!

I love the doctor, however his staff is very unprofessional and downright rude.

Dr. Amin has taken care of several of my family members and friends. He is consistently thorough, professional, personable, responsive, caring and approchable. I would consider Dr. Amin before relocating to another area. He's that good!
