Dr. Allen Kamrava, MD

Misleading information provided by office staff. I waited for over a month for my appointment with Dr. Kamrava. Upon making the appointment, I provided my Blue Shield PPO insurance information to which I was advised they accepted and were in network. After making childcare arrangements and driving 1.5 hours for the appointment, I was provided new patient paperwork to fill out. The paperwork wanted me to initial in half dozen places that Dr. Kamrava is only in network for Blue Shield commercial plans, of which mine is not. When a surgical procedure is needed, it is critically important that the surgeon is in network, so I questioned the office staff. The lady behind the counter was dismissive & disdainful of my questions and advised that upon making the appointment, I should have been told they were not in network. Unfortunately, I was not informed. I don’t not know what kind of doctor Dr. Kamrava is, but his office staff is sub-par and do not provide accurate or complete… information. They also clearly do not value their patients time. I advise that any new patients should not trust their word over the phone but do their own homework regarding Dr. Kamravas’ billing practices and accepted insurance networks.

Dr Kamrava and his staff... the five star says it all! I have a hard time giving any dr office a five star only because it is very seldom it is deserved but in this case... WELL deserved. From my first apt to the surgery and recovery, Dr Allen was so wonderful and patient with my every need. I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you so much. Justin Gann- Carter

Trust him and he's just a good person, you can tell. Didn't feel like he was trying to exploit my visit to get a procedure out of me.

Thank you Dr. Kamrava!!!!! After weeks of having discomfort, I can finally say I feel 110% better. For anyone who is looking for a colorectal surgeon, don't be afraid and book an appointment with Dr. Kamrava. He knows exactly what he is doing and is such a professional about it.

Dr. Kamrava and his entire medical staff are simply the best! I had fissures that I just couldn't seem to get rid of. Really great people here, I highly recommend Dr. Kamrava for anyone with similar issues.

Dr. Kamrava treats you with dignity and compassion under the most difficult circumstances- none of the typical arrogance and coldness we usually endure with skilled surgeons. I went to him for a second opinion and wound up switching to him. The only downside to his bedside manner is that he takes whatever amount of time is necessary with every patient and sometimes it causes him to run behind schedule. Worth the wait- he's great!
