- Family Medicine
A family practitioner is a doctor who specializes in caring for people of all ages, at all stages of life. Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, family practitioners are often the doctors that people see for their everyday ailments, like cold and flu or respiratory infections, and health screenings. When necessary, family practitioners will provide referrals for conditions that require the expertise of another specialist.
The doctors may also provide physicals, inoculations, prenatal care, treat chronic diseases, like diabetes and asthma, and provide advice on disease prevention.

This woman is a huge Wench. She was condescending and told us not to ask her questions about acne medications cus she's only a "Doctor" and questions like that are for dermatologists. well yeah, you're a "doctor" so you should know a thing or two about acne medication. she also has a huge attitude the whole appointment and didn't wanna answer any questions and said to just go to a psychologist and talk to them. at the end of the 5 minute appointment she told us to pick up all of our stuff (our purses) and get out. she watched us like Hawks, good thing she did cus I was eyeing her cotton balls in the little jar. WILL NEVER GO BACK!
I've been seeing Rittmann for a few years now and every time I left I would always say I needed to find a new PCP! Well I have finally found one and the difference between the two has definitely opened my eyes! I have been missing out on a physician that shows compassion, spends adequete time, and listens to what her patients have to say. I am disappointed in myself for keeping Rittmann as my physician for so long, because there were medical issues that could have been prevented and found many years prior. If you want a doctor that will walk in and let the computer do all the work, then hey, knock yourselves out! But with the cost of medical care being so high, I don't think anyone should settle for less than mediocre care!
I've seen Dr Rittman 5 or 6 times over the last few years and each time I leave the office I say the same thing - she is a miserable person. He bedside manner is the worst. She comes in with her computer and robotically asks you questions and types them in. She doesn't seem phased by anything and that conditions aren't taken too seriously. At least show some care and concern and make the patient feel at ease about the issue at hand. In plan to find a new dr and would never recommend her to anyone. She acts like being a dr is an inconvenience.
