Dr. Alma Gladys Limcay Gonzales, MD

Dismissed from care without warning or reason provided. 30 min-1hr wait times for scheduled appointments. Medications not refilled on time. Provider dislikes patients rescheduling appointments but will often cancel patient appointments same-day without care. Poor communication. Poor follow-up.

She’s very efficient and thorough. Still takes the time to talk to me and I feel comfortable enough to tell her anything. I never feel rushed and I always receive excellent care.

My grandma was a patient at the Clinics of North Texas for over 20 years. Dr. Gonzales was supposed to be the physician on call for the Clinics of North Texas the night my grandmother's lungs began filling with fluid. We needed a physician's authorization in order for Hospice to come in and make Grams comfortable. Instead, for several hours, Dr. Gonzales IGNORED REPEATED CALLS FROM THE CLINIC ANSWERING SERVICE while Grams suffered. Dr. Gonzales later claimed she didn't answer the phone because she "had a headache". Thanks to Dr. Gonzales shirking her responsibilities to the Clinics and to its patients, Grams suffered horribly--she gasped, shook, called out anxiously, and struggled to breathe FOR FIVE HOURS until her heart finally gave out. Finally, another Doctor at the Clinics called me back, but it was too late for Grams--she died before Hospice was able to treat her. Dr. Gonzales is an embarrassment to the practice of medicine, an embarrassment to the Clinics of North Texas, and… should be ashamed of herself for leaving patients to suffer and die simply because she "had a headache". Avoid this doctor at all costs--whether or not you get treatment (or even a response) from her will depend entirely upon her "headaches".

She is never in the office and is not capable of diagnosing patients with an accurate diagnosis and prescribing wrong medications.
