Dr. Alok Goyal, MD

DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at ALL! There is no zero star, or else I will give this Dr. and his office a zero star, horrible place to go, long wait time, no one picks up the phone. Hard to communicate, left messages for Dr. many times to call back regarding the report, he never called back. Dr. was talking to a patient in the hall way regarding their report, everyone was listening to his conversation. Need to follow the privacy protocol. He ordered Colonoscopy and Endoscopy for me , which is not needed. He told me that I can come next day and he will do both the procedures, without realizing that you need Insurance approval to do any procedures. When I went to see other doctor, he said we don't need any procedure as blood report shows you do not need any further testing. Its a shame that Dr. wants your money with doing all the procedures, especially when its not required. Good, I cancelled the procedure ahead of time.

I and my wife have been going to Dr. Alok Goyal for quite some time now. He is my primary care physician and also a specialist. Dr. Dr. Goyal is a gentleman and a thorough professional. He listens to my problems and gives me his expert and personal advice. His diagnosis is always right on. we are really satisfied with his services and professional care. The staff is very professional and attend our request expeditiously. There were some delays in response since Covid-19 started; may be due to Covid-19 restrictions. I will recommend Dr Goyal as PCP and also for Gastroenterology expertise.

Dr Goyal is very rude he told me that I like to go to alot of alot of doctors I don't like to see Dr Goyal and everytime that I go to his office they out me with Dr Goyal instead with the other doctors

If i could give 0 start i would , expect to wait at least 2 hours even when you made an appointment the front ladies do whatever they want specially if the other patient are they personal friends , one of the others doctors a female doctor is great and os not her fault that the front personal do whatever they want , if you had nothing to do but wait for more than 2 hours than thats your place . Even if you complaint there is nothing be done , is you go in the early morning and they told you they gonna send a prescription you will not get until late afternoon if not the next day after you called couple times the front personal tells you they gonna send it but they don’t .

This is an inept office incapable of doing the job from top to bottom. Expect to spend 2 hours waiting to see the Dr. for maybe 7 minutes. Expect appointment times that they make for you to be wrong. Had an appointment for a colonoscopy for 9am so I thought. It was for 12 and wasn't taken till 2pm. Had to fast for this. Expect that if they say they sent or will send an electronic referral they they did not. If the Dr, doesn't find what is wrong between the colonoscopy and blood tests that he will have no other ideas relevant to what you are going through. My biggest problem though is with the incompetent office.

he listens to you and then he does exactly what he wants to do no matter how much you disagree. this is a big problem when it comes to mediation. find another doctor if you can

Everything about Dr. Alok Goyal is exceptional. My only issue is this one particular nurse that I really cant stand.

No value for our time at all; I waited for 75 minutes for my appt. which was the first appt. for the day. When I reached there 10 minutes before my appt. time, there were 8 other patients for the same time waiting before me as if they call all patients for that day all at once and have them just wait like a free clinic until they get to them one by one. Some patients who had appt. time after mine, were seen before me because they came few minutes before I reached; what good is the appt. time for? If they cannot manage time, how will they mange patients. You spend more than an hour for your turn only to be seen for few minutes (So, I guess, they do know how to manage their time!). It seems that most doctors these days are more interested in filling out the EHR on the computer so that they get the maximum money in just few minutes of their time. The quality of their examination is generally very poor. They take your weight with heavy shoes on, blood pressure with… tubing facing backward, using stethoscope as if it is going to catch some infection from patients' skin, poking belly instead of proper abdominal examination, etc. Most nurses and doctor do not even wash their hands before examining patients.

While my wife was having an endoscopy and under some sedation, he inquired as to whether or not he had been paid. When she said she had paid Surgicare and was prepared to pay for his services, he threatened her and told her that she would not be released until he got his money. I had to go out to my car and call his office with my debit card so my wife would be released. by the time I had finished, I returned to the building to speak with him about his terrible handling of the situation only to find that he had already left for the day.

excellent Dr would recommend to anyone anytime. Helped a lot with my medical condition. I have full trust in my physician.
